Det er ikke alltid s\u00e5 enkelt \u00e5 huske hva som er forskjellen. Det kan for eksempel v\u00e6re fett kj\u00f8tt og fete meieriprodukter. <\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kjemisk kjennetegnes mettet fett ved at de bare har enkeltbindinger mellom atomene i molekylkjeden. En enumettet fettsyre har \u00e9n dobbeltbinding mellom to av atomene i molekylkjeden. Ved dobbeltbindingen gj\u00f8r kjeden en knekk og dette gj\u00f8r at fettmolekylet tar st\u00f8rre plass enn mettet fett.
