Antioksidanter er en rekke stoffer som beskytter celler og vev mot s\u00e5kalte frie radikaler, og er viktige komponenter i kroppens forsvarssystem. De to viktigste antioksidantene er vitamin C og vitamin E, og den viktigste kilden til antioksidanter er frukt og gr\u00f8nnsaker. Det er ikke dokumentert at hydrogenvann har stor effekt som antioksidant.
